Water water everywhere..

We know that singing is thirsty work but this year there will be no bottled water in your welcome bag.

Brighton and Hove is a UNESCO World Biosphere Region and supported by Brighton and Hove Council, many of our local pubs, cafes and restaurants have committed their support via a plastic free pledge, aiming to reduce the amount of single use plastic ending up in sea.

This year we won’t be giving out plastic bottles of water in your welcome bag. Instead we’d love you to bring along a refillable bottle and make the most of the many food and drink outlets across the City that offer water refills for free.

If you’re feeling particularly tech savvy, why not visit the Refill website where you can find lists of free ‘fill up’ points around town and you can also download an app onto your smart phone so you can find refill points whilst you on the move.

The stewards at our massed sing site and busking sites will have details of the nearest refill location too.

Thanks for helping us keep our seas and streets clean and clear.

  1. That’s brilliant! Here’s to the return of public water fountains and a civilised society 🙂
